Transforming lives across Malawi since 2004. We provide shelter, education, and hope to orphans and vulnerable individuals through comprehensive programs and unwavering compassion.
Rawdhatul Yatama (Garden of Orphans) is a non-profit organization based in Limbe, Malawi, dedicated to providing comprehensive support to orphans and vulnerable individuals across the country.
Founded in 2004, we started with a vision to care for young orphaned girls. Today, we've grown into a multi-program organization caring for 75 children at our orphanage and reaching thousands of vulnerable people through eight specialized programs.
Our vision is to reach out to children and vulnerable adults across Malawi, transforming lives through education, healthcare, dignity, and sustainable opportunities.

We operate eight comprehensive programs designed to address the diverse needs of orphans and vulnerable individuals across Malawi.
Full-time home for 75 orphaned girls aged 4 months to 16 years. Providing food, clothing, education, and activities including tailoring and knitting.
Empowering disabled and elderly with income-generating opportunities. Providing sewing machines, business supplies, and training.
Donating wheelchairs and crutches to disabled individuals, enabling mobility and independence to earn a living.
During Ramadan, distributing iftaar packs with cooked food or dietary essentials to impoverished communities.
Constructing brick houses that withstand weather conditions. Each 2-bedroom home costs 2.5 million Malawi Kwacha.
Monthly food packs to 600+ elderly and disabled individuals. Each pack includes maize flour, rice, salt, soap, and soy.
Providing essential nutrition to mothers with infants who cannot breastfeed. Distributed at hospitals and communities.

Amina joined our orphanage at age 6. Through our education programs, she graduated with a nursing degree from Malawi College of Medicine. In April 2022, she received a STEM Work-Study Prep School Scholarship for a fully paid Master's Degree program in the USA. Her achievement inspires all our girls to pursue their dreams.
Steve was unable to move independently and relied on his father for all mobility needs. Our wheelchair donation transformed his life, enabling him to move around unassisted and regain his dignity and independence.
Your donation directly supports our programs and transforms lives. Every contribution, no matter the size, helps us continue our mission of caring for orphans and vulnerable individuals across Malawi.
